Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been through a bit of a rocky patch of late, what with those break-up rumors, not to mention the "Boyfriend" singer's own recent issues with that speeding ticket, those paparazzi problems and now the lawsuit from a concert-goer who is claiming he caused her hearing loss. Nothing he and his team cannot conquer though, especially if they "Believe"!
And Bieber literally threw aside all that drama, too, in Malaysia, when he took off his shirt, showed off his six-pack (well, maybe not so much!) and hit the waves at what looked to be a surf park. And the athletically inclined pop sensation (he's held his own on the soccer field and basketball court, too) appeared to be handling his board quite well.
Justin Bieber shared the moment with his followers on Twitter, when he posted a cool photo of his water adventure and said, "Just surfin like a beast lol." Apparently, Selena Gomez may have missed firsthand the "beast" mode of her main boy, as she seemingly sat this hang-ten time out—unless she was watching from the sidelines.
Aside from showing off his surfing skills, Bieber also seems to be proving in Malaysia that there are no problems in paradise for him and Gomez. What break-up?! The adorable couple may have had a few fights and some recent rumors may have pegged both stars as wanting to go their separate ways. But that's all water under the bridge (or the surf board!). They've reportedly been spotted on romantic, PDA-packed dates while in the Asian country—from dinner to sightseeing—and they are even rumored to have quite the pricey love nest at a local hotel.
Justin Bieber is in Malaysia for the MTV World Stage Live 2012 event on Saturday, July 14, which should no doubt draw an incredible crowd. The Biebs' biggest fan, though, is still Selena Gomez—for now.
